Do You Remember Guns N' Roses?

Alright, so seriously.. ANYONE that knows me is aware that I've always been a huge fan of Guns N' Roses. In the past few years, Axl Rose has formed his own band but kept the name. The music is still the same with new musicians, though Axl's voice hasn't faltered one bit. In fact, it's gotten better. I've always been a huge supporter of the new album Chinese Democracy that is supposed to get released "this year". Did I mention "this year" was 2006?! Hmmmmmmmmmm. Last I checked, it's now 2007.

So here we are in 2007 with no album in sight. The album was first mentioned btw, in 1994, so we're looking at 13yrs for an album that many believe will never see the light of day. I have to laugh at the fact that Axl is still promoting (and touring) with the new band as "Guns N' Roses" FOR the album Chinese Democracy. That is kind of odd isn't it? I mean, the album doesn't exist and some believe never will. Very interesting. Fast forward to 2007 where there is still "news" if you can call it that. Here is the latest and greatest "news" from Guns N' Roses:

Axl to appear on Bach's new album

Axl Rose will sing on three songs on Sebastian Bach's new album, Angel Down.
"They are all different, with different approaches and styles from each
other and from material I have on the upcoming Guns N’ Roses record,"
said Rose. "For me, the timing couldn’t be better and I’m quite
surprised to be on one song, let alone three!!!"

Ok, let's critique this one a little bit. "I have on the upcoming Guns N' Roses record". That is odd Axl, as we haven't heard anything on the "upcoming" Guns N' Roses record for a VERY long time. I still have faith this album will be released some day, but PLEASE stop messing with everyone's heads. I've been a fan of yours for YEARS and to constantly dangle people on a string you are not allowing anyone validation on your new album that is "upcoming". Please release the damn thing. I mean, hasn't it been long enough?
